Older USB-A laptops are supported through a universal hybrid USB-C/USB-A cable included and replacement or extra host cables can be purchased separately here.
HDMI & DisplayPort for Triple Monitor Outputs
This USB-C Gen 2 docking station with DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 support, is a perfect choice for dual or triple monitor setup, supporting up to triple 4K 60Hz display output, with any combination of three DisplayPort or HDMI video interfaces, on USB-C Gen 2 (with DP 1.4 support) laptops, MacBooks and Windows-based Thunderbolt 3 laptops. Older USB-A laptops will only support dual monitor setup.
Power & Charge with 85W Power Delivery
Power and charge USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 workstation laptops & ultrabooks with 85 watt PDHigher power delivery, MORE than other USB-C 10G Triple monitor docks. Charge smartphones and other devices with two downstream front-facing charging ports with BC 1.2 for USB-A and USB-C devices. Fast-charge ports support always-on charging so devices will charge whether or not a host laptop is connected.

Additional Security
This USB-C/USB-A docking station comes with plenty of security features such as a screw-lock host port which includes a USB-IF Certified 1m 2-in-1 USB-C/USB-A screw-lock cable, and a K-slot for a Kensington style laptop lock.
For added security or flexibility where desk space is limited, this dock can be mounted to the wall, monitor, or underneath the desk with StarTech mounting brackets (SSPMSUDWM & SSPMSVESA). These mounting brackets (not included) are specifically designed for docks and hubs to give you the customized setup you need.
