• A non-hydraulic, electromechanical design that is maintenance-free and requires no hydraulic oil.
• 12 gauge stainless steel with an integrally formed 12 gauge rolled and pinned hinge to strengthen the tab and eliminate spot welds.
• An internal actuator braking design that maintains tab position in rough conditions and when backing down.
• Choice of convenient helm-mounted control switches which provide instant actuator start and stop for very accurate tab positioning.
• A full pivoting upper bracket for maximum installation flexibility.
• A patented ram seal that cannot be fouled by barnacle growth and a patented internal pressurization system for added watertight integrity.
• A complete non-metallic, double-insulated, actuator which cannot corrode and will not deteriorate in the sun or underwater.
• A precision planetary gearbox for quiet and efficient operation.
• Switches meet mil-std 202F for salt spray
• Designed to provide "instant stop" to prevent actuator over-run
