This Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable™ USB Keyboard single-gage interface connects Mitutoyo digital gages with a 10-pin plain connector to a computer. This SmartCable™ USB gage interface connects directly to the gage, no additional cables required. Commonly used with Mitutoyo gages such as, indicators, MU-Checkers and gages, displays, linear height, Litematic, Heightmatic, Digi Derm and hardness testers. The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal. Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the SmartCable™ USB to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application or Explorer based SPC program - no messy software wedge required. The SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface will make the Mitutoyo gage readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard - eliminates SPC data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.
