This Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable™ USB Keyboard single gage interface connects a standard Mitutoyo gage (Series 570/543/575/572) to a computer. Connects directly to the gage using a 90 degree left-angle connector-no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal.

Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the SmartCable™ gage interface to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no software wedge required. The SmartCable Keyboard gage interface will make the gage readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or explorer based SPC program, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.
